Tickets for friends of Tanglewood will be going on sale soon and tickets for the general public will go on sale February 15, 2009.  As in the past Brook Farm Inn will be giving preferential booking to our repeat customers and to customers who book five nights or longer.  Call or go online to reserve your room if you haven’t already done so.  This is a season you do not want to miss.

Playing at Barrington Stage Co. December 3-20 is “This Wonderful Life,” a one-man stage adaptation of this holiday heart-warmer.  You’ll meet more than 20 of the characters from Frank Capra’s timeless film.  At Brook Farm Inn in Lenox Massachusetts, winter rates will be in effect, so you can enjoy bed and breakfast plus theater at the lowest rates of the year.

We enjoyed a wonderful event several days ago, when the Tanglewood personnel came to Lenox and presented the ‘09 schedule to Business Friends of Tanglewood. It’s going to be a great summer, not only with weekend concerts in the shed, but events almost every evening, midweek, in Ozawa Hall.  Link to the schedule from the homepage of our website www.brookfarm.com.  We’re already booking reservations.

The 24th annual Festival of Trees is on exhibit at the Berkshire Museum. This year’s theme is Getting Green, and you’ll be uplifted by festive, earth-friendly decorations and designs.  You’ll delight in the museum’s eco-savvy and eco-fabulous enchanted forest of more than 200 trees, decorated with natural materials and recycled objects.  At Brook Farm Inn, we’re making discounted tickets available to our guests, so ask about it when you arrive.

The annual Stockbridge, Massachusetts “Main Street At Christmas” event will be December 6 & 7.  Main Street will be decorated to look like a Norman Rockwell painting, and special events through the weekend will take place.  Brook Farm Inn in Lenox is only 5 minutes from there. so join us for a memorable weekend!
