The Poets Room is inspired by the famous writers of Lenox: Edith Wharton, Herman Melville, and Nathaniel Hawthorne. Enjoy this bright and airy 3rd floor room with a view of our woodlands and the sunset. It features a comfortable king bed under a skylight and a characterful, angled ceiling. Settle into either comfy armchair to read or enjoy the smart TV with cable streaming. The room also has air-conditioning, new flooring, and a dresser. The bathroom has a stall shower. Please note this is a historic building and the angled ceiling above the toilet is rather low. See AllBerkshire Room The tranquil Berkshire Room is located in the main house, at the top of the grand staircase. It features a queen bed, closet, 2 upholstered slipper chairs, ceiling fan light, and new flooring. The high ceiling, decorative fireplace, and antique oak dresser provide a Victorian ambiance, while the light-filled bathroom, stall shower, smart TV with cable streaming, and air conditioning provide modern comforts. Please note this is a historic building and the Berkshire's floor has a very slight slope. Click this link for a 360 videoBluebird Room Located on the main level of the inn, the Bluebird is an L-shaped room which features a sweet, cottagecore-style blue and yellow bird wallpaper, as well as high ceilings, antique dresser and vanity, 2 upholstered slipper chairs, and a decorative fireplace. Modern comforts include a queen platform bed with a new hybrid mattress, closet, a loveseat which pulls out to an additional twin bed, new flooring, ceiling fan light, A/C, mini fridge, and a smart TV with cable streaming. The renovated bathroom has a tub and shower combo with grab bars. Please note this is a historic building and this room slopes slightly to the left of the bathroom. A Tree of Life stained glass panel is also a highlight of the room. The windows open to let in the morning light and fresh Berkshire air. This room features a king bed with a new hybrid mattress, 2 upholstered chairs, new flooring, smart TV with cable streaming, remote-controlled ceiling fan/light, closet, A/C, and newly-tiled bathroom with a tub/shower combination. It features vintage floral wallpaper and an angled wall with dormer windows framing the treetops. This spacious room can accommodate up to three people with its pull-out, twin sofa bed. It is adjacent to accessible parking. It is perfect for college roommates having a reunion, parents with children, or anyone looking to comfortably accommodate 1-4 guests. This room is also a great space for writing. It features a king bed in the bedroom plus a queen sized, pull-out sofa in the separate living room. Lounge in the living room with its Jotul cast-iron gas fireplace, kitchenette (sink, mini fridge, microwave, Keurig), window seat, smart TV with cable streaming, and large couch. The bedroom has another gas fireplace, smart TV with cable streaming, closet, and window seat overlooking the pool. In the summer, take your coffee to the private deck which enjoys the morning sun. This suite accommodates four comfortably (and an additional roll-away can be brought in to accommodate 5). The large luxury bathroom is accessible from either room and boasts a jacuzzi tub, walk-in shower, and double sinks.
